Remove any extension cords or power strips from the power supply, as they cause voltage drops that worsen the problem. Undersized compressor. If the compressor is undersized or, at certain times, insufficient for the load it's performing, the thermal overload relay of the electric motor may also trip due to temperature. Also check the ventilation: if the compressor is in an enclosed space, against a wall, or surrounded by obstacles, heat accumulates, and the motor cannot cool down between cycles; leave at least 50–60 cm of free space around the unit and improve the intake of fresh air into the room. Although most users think that opening the compressor doors will improve cooling, the opposite is true. Opening the enclosure doors breaks the air ventilation channel, forcing air out through the door instead of the radiator. Very low oil level. Oil also contributes to cooling. If the level is low, it won't dissipate heat effectively. Add the recommended type of oil to the correct level and check for leaks. Very high ambient temperature.
